McGregor Bay Lodge Rental Terms and Conditions
The following Terms and Conditions govern the rental agreement between The Guest and The Owner (McGregor Bay Lodge). The Guest agrees to abide by these terms and conditions by confirming the booking.
Check-In/Check-Out:

Check-in time is from 3:00 pm.

Check-out time is before 10:00 am for high-season weekly rentals. *A late checkout fee may be applied at the discretion of the owner.

Low-season weekend and midweek rentals may have an earlier check-in or later check-out, subject to availability.
Party Members:

All persons named on the Rental Application or added later by The Owner are bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Only the Rental Applicant (Lead Guest) will receive information or instructions regarding the rental.

The Lead Guest assumes full responsibility for all members of the Rental Group throughout the rental period.
Credit Card Guarantee:

The Lead Guest must provide a valid credit card number as a Damage Deposit guarantee.

The Lead Guest agrees to pay all outstanding rental charges and fees and accepts liability for any damage beyond normal wear and tear during the rental period.
Payment:

The Owner will confirm reservations in writing upon receipt of a deposit via Visa or MasterCard, cheque, or email money transfer.

The balance is due 30 days before the rental period commences and can be paid via VISA, Mastercard, Canadian cheque, or email money transfer.

Full payment is required on booking for reservations made less than 30 days before the rental period or for rentals of less than a week.

Failure to pay by the due date will cancel the reservation, and the deposit will be forfeited.
Cancellation Policy and Changing a Booking:

Cancellations must be made in writing.

Suppose the cancellation is made more than 30 days before the arrival date. In that case, the deposit will be refunded minus a cancellation fee equal to the greater of $25 or 3% of the deposit paid.

Suppose the cancellation is made less than 30 days before the arrival date. In that case, the Guest will forfeit all monies paid for the rental period unless the period can be re-booked.

If the period can be re-booked, the Guest will receive a refund for the period re-rented, minus a cancellation fee of $150.

Reservation dates may be changed only at the discretion of The Owner.
Occupancy of the Property:

The number of guests is strictly limited to those named on the Rental Application or any subsequent amendment notified in writing to The Owner.

The occupancy limit includes all persons, regardless of age.
-
Exceeding the occupancy limit may result in immediate eviction without a refund or a $100 per Guest per night charge at the Owner’s discretion.
Transportation:

The Guest is responsible for arranging transportation to and from the Property.
Condition of the Property:

The Property will be inspected before the occupation, and The Guest must report any damage or maintenance issues immediately.

The Guest must keep The Property, furniture, fixtures, fittings, chattels, and effects in the same condition as at the start of the rental.

Where a cleaning service is provided, The Guest must follow the departure instructions provided by The Owner.

Where a cleaning service is not provided, The Guest must leave The Property in the same condition of cleanliness and order as at the start of the rental.

The Guest must immediately report any damage to The Property or its contents to The Owner.

The Guest must replace any damaged or destroyed items with similar items of equal value or as required by The Owner.
